By analyzing papers, we articulated the factors that lead people facing homelessness to the streets. The factors are discomfort, complicated waiting process, strict application requirements, pet prohibition, complex healthcare needs, and problems that are caused by the lack of security. Down With Homelessness is a project to spread awareness on what happens behind homeless shelter in New York and the improvements needed for a more supportive shelter for people facing homelessness. For achieving our goal, we will use social media such as Twitter and Instagram so that more people will gain information about the people facing homelessness.
